Privacy Policy

1. Introduction


Blue Networks s.r.l. with a sole shareholder, VAT number 03486300837, based in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (ME), as the Data Controller (hereinafter, "Blue Networks"), ensures the protection of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, "GDPR") and Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018. This notice is addressed to users (hereinafter, "User" or "Users") who interact with the website www.bluenetworks.it (below, "Site").

2. Subject of the Processing


Blue Networks collects and processes the personal data of users (hereinafter referred to as "User" or "Users") who interact with the website www.bluenetworks.it (below, "Site"). In particular:

  1. Browsing data
    • IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by Users;
    • Pages visited within the Site, access time, method used to submit requests to the server, size of the files obtained in response;
    • Numeric code indicating the status of the server response and other parameters related to the operating system and the User's computing environment;
    • Data collected through proprietary technical cookies (first party) and third-party analytical cookies (Google Analytics or similar services).

  2. Personal data voluntarily provided by the User
    • Name, surname, email address and other contact details, for example when filling in contact forms or order forms;
    • Billing information (shipping and billing address, any details related to payment methods) in case of purchases on the Site;
    • Any additional information voluntarily provided by the User (e.g. in the text of a message or a contact request).

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing


  1. Service Purposes (treatments necessary without the User's consent)
    Legal basis: execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures (art. 6, lett. b, GDPR) and/or compliance with legal obligations (art. 6, lett. c, GDPR).
    • Manage the Site and allow navigation;
    • To compile statistics on the use of the Site (in anonymous or aggregated form);
    • Carry out maintenance and technical support;
    • Improve the quality of the Site, create new services, features and/or characteristics;
    • Allow communication between User and Blue Networks (live chat, contact form, email);
    • Process contact requests / purchase orders;
    • Defend the rights of the Holder in court and suppress unlawful behaviour;
    • Fulfil contractual, legal or regulatory obligations (e.g. accounting and tax obligations), responsabilità ex art. 35 GDPR in caso di servizi di Data Protection Officer).
    • Allow the fulfilment of purchase orders through the Site.
  2. Commercial Purposes (processing subject to consent)
    Legal basis: free and specific consent of the User (art. 6, lett. a, GDPR).
    • Send commercial communications, newsletters, information about products or services offered by Blue Networks;
    • Send insights on cybersecurity and data protection issues;


4. Nature of Data Provision


The provision of data for Service Purposes is mandatory. Any refusal may prevent navigation of the Site or the use of the requested services.

The provision of data for Commercial Purposes is optional. The User can always withdraw the consent previously given, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before the withdrawal.


5.  Methods of Processing


The processing of personal data is carried out using manual and/or electronic tools, with logic strictly related to the stated purposes and in compliance with the security measures prescribed by current legislation (art. 32 GDPR). Specifically, Blue Networks:

  • Treats data in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency;
  • Implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction;
  • Limit access to data to authorised personnel who are adequately trained.


6. Data Retention Period


  • Data for Service Purposes: retained for the time necessary to manage the User's requests and to comply with legal obligations (e.g. accounting documentation for up to 10 years).
  • Data for Commercial Purposes: retained for 2 years or until the User withdraws consent.​

After such terms have elapsed, the data will be deleted, anonymised, or rendered unusable for profiling and marketing purposes.


7.  Categories of Recipients


User data may be made accessible, for the purposes mentioned above, exclusively to:

  • Employees and collaborators of Blue Networks or affiliated companies, in their capacity as authorized persons for processing (art. 29 GDPR);
  • Third-party service providers (External data processors) that carry out outsourcing activities on behalf of the Data Controller (e.g. hosting providers, IT service providers, accounting, commercial, legal or tax consultancy firms);
  • Third parties to whom Blue Networks provides Data Protection Officer (DPO) services, solely in the capacity of independent data controllers for purposes related to the assignment;
  • Judicial or supervisory authorities, in cases provided for by law.

Personal data will not be disclosed in any way.


8. Transfer Outside the European Union


Blue Networks uses, among others, the CloudFlare service for the optimisation and security of the Site. CloudFlare may temporarily store data such as IP address and browser user-agent. For more information:

For the processing and archiving of forms/questionnaires, the Microsoft Forms suite is used:

In any case, the data is primarily stored on servers located in the European Union. If it becomes necessary to transfer to non-EU countries, Blue Networks will adopt appropriate security measures (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission) in accordance with Articles 44-49 of the GDPR.


9. User Rights


The User, as the data subject, can exercise at any time the rights provided for in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, including:

  1. Access to data: to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning them and to receive a copy;
  2. Rectification: to request the amendment of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data;
  3. Deletion (“oblivion”): to obtain the deletion of data, where the conditions apply (e.g. withdrawal of consent, data no longer necessary);
  4. Restriction of processing: to request that the data be processed only for certain purposes;
  5. Data portability: to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;
  6. Objection: to oppose at any time the processing carried out for legitimate interests of the Data Controller or for direct marketing purposes;
  7. Submit a complaint to the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
